Australian Plain Head Scale of Points

The Australian Plain Head has a distinctive stance with the body held at 30 degrees from the perch and the head held vertically from a chubby well rounded body. Fine smooth and silky feathering is a feature of the Australian Plain Head. Australian Plain Heads are bred in yellow and white ground, clear variegated and self (green or cinnamon). Colour feeding is allowed.Type HEAD: Full, broad, round skull, small beak Points: 15 NECK: Strong, moderate length, curved at the back. Points: 15 TYPE: Short and chubby, length 164 mm (61/2 inches), Carriage stylish Points: 25 BACK: To be clean to the end of the wings Points: 5 WINGS AND TAIL: Short and compact. Points: 10 FEATHER: Short, soft and silky Points: 10 COLOUR: Rich, pure and even throughout Points: 10 LEGS AND FEET: Clean and free from scales. Points: 5 STAGING: Cleanliness of bird and cage. Points: 5 Points: 10
