Victorian Canary Society [V.C.S.]

Border Fancy Standard of Excellence

As adopted by the Border Fancy Canary clubs of Victoria and South Australia, 1992

_____________________________________

The Grand essentials of the Border Fancy Canary are Type and Quality; without these it is useless.

The general appearance is that of a clean-cut, lightly made, compact, proportionable, close feathered canary. it will show no tendency to heaviness, roughness, or dullness, giving the impression of fine quality and symmetry throughout. Health and soundness are essential.
